Continuous Tumbling Drum Shot Blasting Machine
These shot blasting machines clean by tumbling parts. Due to the type of process, this system covers a wide spectrum of needs, but we can say that in general it is recommended for any part which, due to its shape and material, can be tumbled. All tumbling machines can be easily integrated into continuous manufacturing processes, with different dosing, loading and unloading systems.
We have different tumbling systems:
1. Constantly rotating rubber belt: By means of smooth, constant tumbling, it makes the shot blasting of parts uniform. It is a belt which has a high resistance to wear and is perforated to let the shot drain out. They are manufactured in a wide range of capacities adapted to every production need.
2. Constantly rotating metal drum: It is suitable for shot blasting parts in bulk which can be tumbled. The smooth, constant rotation of the drum makes the cleaning of the parts uniform. It is a drum built completely out of wear-resistant steel without joints, as a result of which there is no risk for the parts or the machine itself.
3. Continuous belt: Designed especially for the continuous production of parts. It has the advantage of allowing smooth, constant tumbling with possibility of changing production by changing the rotational speed or the tilt of the belt.
4. Continuous rotating metal drum: Due to its special design, it makes the shot blasting uniform and continuous for high production. Its great advantage is that, like the metal drum, it is completely built out of wear-resistant steel without joints, as a result of which it has very high strength and very low maintenance.
Applications for this product:
Automotive industry, Construction Industry , Wind power Industry, Railway Industry , Foundry-Forging Industry, Shipyards, Shot peening, Heat treatment
Technical Parameters:

Maximum workpiece diagonal length (mm) | 600 | 600 |
Continuous processing capacity (t / h) | 5-12 | 10-25 |
Workpiece weight (kg) | 65 | 65 |
Number of blast wheel | 2 | 4 |
Power of blast wheel (kW) | 15-4 | 15-45 |
Workpiece dwell-time and abrasive throughput rates are controlled by the volume of castings. This results in the best possible cleaning effect and minimal wear on machine components and abrasive. Automatic adaptation to production rate is a standard feature. The barrel rotation speed and abrasive throughput are electronically controlled, based on preprogrammed parameters.
The unique design makes it easy to integrate CT blast cleaning machines into production lines. In a typical continuous production flow, castings leave the moulding line and pass through the cooling and sand / castings separating systems into the blast cleaning system without any manual operation or floor transportation.
